RSFC currently offers the RQF BTEC IT qualification which comprises of eight units of study, of which six units are IT and two units are Computer Science. The IT qualification at RSFC is offered from the Pearsons exam board to approximately 60 students across year 12 and 13. We also offer AQA Computer Science A Level to approximately 130 students across both cohorts. We have a dedicated suite of modern and well-resourced teaching rooms with state-of-the-art interactive screens in each classroom. Staff within the department have high standards and expectations, which has led to consistently achieving outstanding results. Staff within the department teach a mixture of IT and Computer Science with optional enrichment sessions in coding and cyber security.
We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic, and passionate Teacher of IT & Computer Science, who is keen to continuously improve the classroom experience of our students. Highly motivated and resilient you will have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of our young people. The successful candidate will work within a successful and hardworking team.
