The Altus Pantry Hub

We are building an Altus Pantry Hub at Kingsway Park High School. This will be a central place to store food, cleaning products, nappies, and toiletries we receive every week to distribute to families who may be in need.

The Hub will be found in a new building at Kingsway Park High School and parents/carers needing supplies will be able to access it themselves without having to walk through the school building. The Hub will also be used as a central store where we can then distribute items as needed to the other academies in the Trust.

As things progress, we will also use the Hub as a distribution point for other items that are donated, including toys, second-hand homeware and kitchen equipment, and previously worn (but perfectly good!) school uniform. We also hope to have a washing machine and drying rail on site too.

The Altus Pantry Hub is being organised as a way of supporting families and communities around its academies.
