Robert McCluskie

Bob has worked within the education sector for over 20 years. He is responsible for contributing and leading the implementation of the estates strategy for the Trust whilst managing all aspects of academies upkeep, care, maintenance, security, health and safety and facilities management in line with statutory and regulatory requirements. 

His main aim is to ensure students and staff have the best facilities for the delivery of effective teaching and learning. To do this Bob has a wealth of school estate management experience, formulating and managing the medium and long-term building maintenance plans, leading on refurbishments and other building projects. 

He has extensive knowledge in preparing annual costed plans for repairs and upgrades for each estate with all works managed within set budgets.  

Bob leads a team of staff which include estate officers and security staff, who all work closely with senior management to ensure each site complies with all building and health and safety regulations and each building delivers a first class environment for all.
