Altus Community Hub

The Altus Community Hub is a FREE and confidential service for families and individuals in our local communities to access food and other essential items such as toiletries.

We work with several partners, ensuring we have ‘outreach hub’ provision in each of the neighbourhood areas across the Borough of Rochdale.  

What We Offer

The Altus Community Hub is a free, confidential food bank and essentials service able to offer donated items such as toys, second-hand homeware and kitchen equipment, and previously worn (but perfectly good!) school uniform. Recipe cards are also available with food packs giving ideas of how to use the ingredients in the packs to make nutritious meals.

The Hubs can be accessed by any family, not just those families of our academies – our mission and values are to give access to all who may require this service.

The Altus Community Hub has been organised as a way of supporting all families and communities around the borough of Rochdale and its surrounds, because we believe everyone deserves the chance to belong and thrive
