Children's University

Children’s University is a charity that works in partnership with schools and local organisations to develop a love of learning in children, raise aspirations and develop skills.  

In Rochdale, over the last 18 months, the Children's University has grown, which is wonderful! We have early year’s nurseries, an increasing number of primary schools, a secondary school and a some community based groups, with the majority of work co-ordinated through working in partnership with leads in schools and across the different groups.

Children take part in a range of extra-curricular activities both in and out of school and online. The number of activity hours is logged and, to encourage and recognise children and young people’s achievements, we celebrate with milestone certificates and a graduation ceremony at the end of the school year.
