Salary: SFCA Support Staff Pay Spine Points 20–24 (£36,283 - £40,462)
Location: Rochdale-based with Trust-wide responsibilities
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Altus Education Partnership is a thriving and rapidly growing multi-academy trust, currently comprising four high-performing schools including the nationally recognised Rochdale Sixth Form College. With several new schools set to join, this is a pivotal time to become part of our dedicated central team.
We are looking to appoint a Procurement and Contracts Officer to lead and deliver high-impact, value-driven procurement and contract management services across the Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a Trust-wide procurement strategy, secure cost efficiencies, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance in a dynamic and rewarding education setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies across all academies.
- Lead on tendering, supplier onboarding, contract award and performance management.
- Provide expert advice and support on procurement compliance and best practices.
- Maintain the Trust’s contract and asset management systems.
- Research and coordinate external funding bids.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong procurement experience, ideally with contract management in the public or education sector.
- Knowledge of procurement legislation and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and data analysis skills.
- A CIPS qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- A values-driven, self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
