Director of Safeguarding

Claire has worked in Rochdale for 14 years, supporting schools with HR and safeguarding. She previously worked as Education Safeguarding Officer for Rochdale Borough Council, where her role provided support and oversight of safeguarding across all of the schools in the Borough, collaborating with the multi-agency partnership and acting as a representative for education. Claire moved to a multi-academy trust in 2022, where she held the role of Director of Safeguarding & People prior to joining Altus in August 2025.
